Author Interview

I recently had the opportunity to interview Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff about Illuminae: The Illuminae Files. Here are some of the questions I asked them:

Q: What inspired you to write Illuminae: The Illuminae Files?

Amie Kaufman: We wanted to write a science fiction story that was both thrilling and suspenseful, but also character-driven. We also wanted to explore some important themes, such as the importance of hope, the power of love, and the strength of friendship.

Q: What was the biggest challenge in writing Illuminae: The Illuminae Files?

Jay Kristoff: The biggest challenge was finding a way to tell the story from multiple perspectives without confusing the reader. We wanted each character to have their own unique voice and perspective, but we also wanted the story to flow smoothly.

Q: What do you hope readers will take away from Illuminae: The Illuminae Files?

Amie Kaufman: We hope that readers will be entertained by the story, but also that they will think about the important themes that the story explores. We hope that Illuminae: The Illuminae Files will inspire readers to be hopeful, to love, and to be strong.

Illuminae: The Illuminae Files is a must-read for fans of science fiction, space opera, and dystopian fiction. The series is a thrilling and suspenseful adventure that will keep readers on the edge of their seats from beginning to end. The characters are well-developed and relatable, and the themes are both timely and important.
